Online tutoring might not be the best fit for every student. However, I have been tutoring online since 2020, and I have seen success for my students whether they were online or in-person.

Each session is 50 minutes. Students are required to meet a minimum of 2 sessions per week to see progress. Parents may prefer to have 3 sessions per week to see quicker progress.

No, your student does not need a dyslexia diagnosis to tutor with me. I am specifically trained to work with dyslexia students, but this approach works with many students who struggle with reading.

I recommend all parents read with their child as often as they are able. Taking even a few minutes each day to have your child read out loud in a safe environment will help build fluency more quickly. I will provide extra reading work at home when a parent requests work for the days we don’t have sessions.

The amount of time required to help your student reach reading fluency varies by student. Dyslexia is a spectrum disorder ranging from mild to severe. It can typically take one to three years for students.
