Hello, I’m a mom of two children with dyslexia. Our journey started over 10 years ago when our daughter struggled to learn her letters and numbers in kindergarten. In seeking to get her the help she needed, I became trained at the Madison Children’s Dyslexia Center. I really enjoyed working with students and helping them build literacy confidence! I’m always looking for ways to help my students and recently completed Pure and Complete Phonics training with Dr. Shawn Anthony Robinson.  I’m excited to help students tackle those bigger multisyllabic words!

Why online tutoring? I was thrown into the world of online instructions during the past few years, but I found there were many benefits. Some benefits included:

  • reaching students in areas with few dyslexia resources
  • students can receive instruction from the comfort of their own home
  • flexible scheduling for me and the families I serve

In my spare time, I enjoy daily family walks with our corgi, family game nights, reading and knitting.

My Mission

I strive to build confidence and help every student reach reading independence.

My Values

I believe in helping students gain the skills to become successful readers as quickly as possible.
